Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 September 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of the GeekYo website, the GeekYo AI platform and its API. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. Agreement
This is an agreement between you (or the organization you represent) and GeekYo. If you accept these terms on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.
2. Who may use the service
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. The service is intended for professional and business use. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with the laws that apply to you, including any local rules on AI-generated content.
3. Accounts and security
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and through your API keys.
- Keep API keys confidential. Treat them as billing credentials, because usage is charged to your balance.
- Notify us promptly at terrytao@geek-yo.com if you believe your account or a key has been compromised.
4. Credits, fees and billing
- The platform is prepaid. Generation and API calls are charged against the credits in your account at the rates published on the platform.
- Credit consumption varies by model, by request parameters and by the length or resolution of the output. You are responsible for the cost of every request made through your account.
- Credits are not transferable and, except where required by law, are not refundable once consumed.
- We may change pricing. Changes apply to future consumption and we will give notice on the platform before they take effect.
- We may suspend the service for accounts with unpaid balances, suspected fraud or a breach of these terms.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- Break any applicable law or regulation, or infringe the rights of anyone else.
- Generate content that sexualises minors, incites violence or terrorism, or constitutes harassment or defamation.
- Create deceptive material intended to mislead — including impersonation or fraudulent documentation.
- Attempt to bypass the safety features, guardrails or usage limits of the platform or of any connected model.
- Extract, scrape or reverse engineer the platform, or resell access to it except as expressly permitted by a written agreement with us.
- Introduce malware, attack our infrastructure, or interfere with other customers’ use of the service.
6. Your content and generated output
You keep whatever rights you hold in the prompts, images and documents you submit. You grant us the license we need to process that content, route it to the model you select and return a result — and to retain it as part of your account history.
Ownership of generated output depends on the terms of the model provider that produced it as well as on the law of your jurisdiction. We make no claim of ownership over your outputs, but we cannot guarantee that they are free of third-party rights, and we recommend that you review them before commercial use.
7. Third-party models and services
The service provides access to models operated by third parties. Your use of a model may also be subject to that provider’s terms. Model availability, capability and pricing may change or be withdrawn by the provider at any time, and we do not guarantee that any particular model will remain available.
8. Intellectual property
The GeekYo and GeekYo AI names and logos are our trademarks. Our software, website and documentation — including third-party components we are licensed to use — remain the property of us or our licensors. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer any ownership of our intellectual property.
9. Availability, changes and termination
We work to keep the service available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we may suspend it for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms; where we terminate without cause, we will refund any unused credit in your account.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or offensive, and it must not be relied upon as legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. Use your own judgement before relying on any generated result. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the service, the content you submit, or your breach of these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which GeekYo is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will revise the date at the top of this page and provide notice on the platform of any material change. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
